A friend of mine sent me some old proverbs to read, I found them interesting and thought-provoking.  A particular one stood out when I read it.

“The way of a fool seems right to him, but a wise man listens to advice.”

When you think about this it is so true.  How many times have you come up with a great idea and everyone else thinks it is not?  We are able to think of so many things that are right with the idea and have a hard time thinking of any of the negatives.  Yet when we pursue our great idea it does not turn out even close to being good.

Seeking wise counsel is always an excellent idea.  Do you have someone who could serve in the capacity of a counselor, adviser or mentor to you?  If you do not, then start seeking one out, a good mentor/adviser is…
